Abi is a queer ceramicist, zine maker, weaver and printmaker based in Kirkcaldy, Fife. They are the maker behind Witch Bottles Fife- ceramic bottles influenced by medieval Bellarmine bottles. Their work explores themes of folklore, grief, witchcraft, medieval history and place, with specific focus on the historical and folkloric links between Fife and Norfolk. They are currently interested in exploring fishing history and heritage from both of these places, weaving their own family history with broader histories of fishing communities, and exploring the role of craft for coastal communities.
