Artist statement:
Adrian is a marine/landscape artist who paints in oil and watercolour but occasionally dabbles in pen, ink and scraperboard. The inspiration for his paintings mainly comes from places he has visited and the sea, lakes or rivers often feature in his work. He paints in a realist style and enjoys the challenge of creating a lasting image that captures the mood and light of the original scene. His work has been commended at the annual Fife Open Art Exhibition and he is a former winner of the Armed Forces Art Award. His work has also been reproduced by the Royal Navy. He currently exhibits with the Dalgety Bay Art Club and further afield throughout Scotland. |
