Artist statement:
Caroline works instinctively, influenced by water and the ephemeral in nature. Her painting inspiration has come from travelling north to Iceland and Arctic Norway, although recent work has focused closer to home. This quote describes the feelings her work can evoke. "The things we walk past, Caroline draws attention to so beautifully. Looking through her work, I feel a warmth in my chest and a fresh wave of appreciation for the natural world." |
