Artist statement:
Catherine draws and paints townscapes and buildings in Fife and often uses real places as a backdrop for illustration work. The chance to go out sketching was a hidden bonus of lockdown, and Catherine enjoyed the opportunity to draw outdoors in the landscape, adding both to her connection with the local area and her understanding of materials. Both sketches and developed work will be on show, with original artwork, cards and prints for sale. |
