Artist Statement:
Karen Trotter lives and works in North Queensferry. Her work is very much a response to her local environment on the shores of the Forth. Over 20 years she has collected objects from the bays and beaches, which find their way into her museum like studio. Karen works across many media including painting, printmaking and assemblages.
