Artist statement:
Ken is continually inspired by the ever-changing light, big skies, seasons and stunning scenery on the Fife coast where he lives. No two days, often even minutes are quite the same and he finds the opportunities to paint limitless. Chance moments such as trees silhouetted by colourful skies, a snow storm looming over the Forth and Edinburgh, or looking out of from an office block to see spires and domes rising out of an enigmatic street mist continually feed new ideas. Ken is a completely self taught artist who has been painting in acrylics and oils for over thirty years. |
