Artist statement:
Leo is a painter of large and of miniature scenes. Wildlife, environment, landscape, story, myth, mystery. These are Leo’s inspirations. Nature especially, whether out on location or back in his studio where he works on large canvases, on his miniature paintings and wood engravings, and from the worlds in his head. The Isle of May seabird island is of key importance to Leo and you will see lots of it when you visit his studio. |
