Artist statement:
Lynette Gray is a painter and ceramicist. Her painting studio is in the Kinghorn Railway Station building. In her Signal Box Studio at Aberdour she creates clay models based on her watercolour studies of native birds. During the weekend, Lynette will be at Kinghorn demonstrating using the moulds to create slip cast bisqueware. Birds are hand painted using underglazes and fired for a second time meaning that each model bird is unique. |
