Artist statement:
Malcolm works predominantly in oils and pastels but has more recently returned to watercolour. As an artist member of Fife Dunfermline Printmakers, he now creates etchings and screenprints and has even started exploring the making of artists books. He follows a figurative tradition in his work and paints those subjects from life that attract his attention. In this respect he considers himself to be a painter of memories.
