Artist statement:
​
Marcel is originally from Ireland and has been living and working in Fife since 1986.

He has exhibited widely in Scotland and beyond with exhibitions at The Firestation Dunfermline, the City Arts Centre Edinburgh, the Arts Council Gallery Belfast, The Crawford Arts Centre St. Andrews.
He spent a year studying Byzantine Art at the Cyprus College of Art and he was awarded a major scholarship from the Pollock / Krasner Foundation in New York.
