Artist statement:
Margot Hailey graduated as a mature student from Edinburgh College of art in 2012. She has exhibited work in a variety of group shows and has artists books in the Scottish Library’s permanent collection. Her work evolves from her visual response to her environment where she looks for the drama we may notice. In her painting, printing and book making practice she experiments and utilises whatever may happen in the creative process often using a wide variety of media. As an artist as she explores ideas and she wants the viewer to enjoy their own imaginative journey into her work. |
