Artist statement:
Marion’s art practice is focussed on abstract painting, inspired by Brutalist architecture and the urban environment. She enjoys the aesthetic of mid-20th century art and design and her recent work continues to explore this theme. Marion works in a variety of media, but mainly oils or acrylic on linen. Her paintings are underpinned by drawings and collage on paper, some of which become pieces in their own right. |
