Artist statement:
Marion's art practice is focussed on abstract painting, inspired by brutalist architecture and the urban environment. She enjoys the aesthetic of mid-20th century art and design and her recent work continues to explore this theme. Marion prefers to work in oils or acrylic on linen, but her paintings are underpinned by drawings and collage on paper, some of which become works in their own right. |
