Artist Statement:

May Snaddon is a painter and printmaker.
She creates relief, etching and screen prints. She finds the process similar to painting, using layers to create an image, the disciplines complementing each other.

Her inspiration comes mostly from the natural world, with a particular interest in water. Water being powerful in the sea, but gentle in reflection. Living near the coast means the inspiration is often on the doorstep.
