Artist statement:

Pat has immersed herself in art throughout her life. After her two children became independent, she studied for the City & Guilds Certificate in Stitched Textiles, and then went on to graduate from Edinburgh College of Art. She has developed an individual style, creating work with traditional paints, but also ‘painting’ with textiles and stitch. She is drawn to the sea, loving time out sketching in the elements. The islands of Scotland and her home in Fife are dominant influences.​
