Artist statement:
Penelope is an artist, jeweller, designer and maker who is inspired by nature and the myths and stories of the Scottish landscape. Working with precious and non-precious metals, natural and recycled materials she creates a range of textile works and jewellery. Recently she has been experimenting with the medium of pyrography to capture her journeys within the Fife countryside. Penelope runs art and craft workshops throughout Fife that focus on helping individuals reclaim their creativity. On show will be a selection of past and recent works and a collection of her sketchbooks. |
