Susan Smith                                                                                 

Artist statement:

Educated at Edinburgh College of Art , fine art degree. Worked as an art teacher and community artist in West Lothian.

Now has a studio in Burntisland, at her home from where Susan paints in watercolour, oils, and prints . Susan has a small cast iron press, she specialises in lino printing.

She teaches/runs an off loom tapestry weaving group from there, Greenpark Weavers. Susan is also a member of Fife Dunfermline Print Workshop and of the Art & Craft Collective Gallery in Causewayside, Edinburgh.

​Her work is nature based, from outdoors observation, finished in the studio.
