Artist statement:
Susan’s work is a mix of digital collage and typography using word play, lyrics and affirmations to create one-off art prints. Since joining the artists in residence at the King’s Theatre, Kirkcaldy, Susan has been exploring what it means to her to have a studio within the King’s having spent her formative years rehearsing and performing there in the local youth theatre group. This has inspired a new body of work which she is delighted to be exhibiting and selling for the first time with Central Fife Artists' Collective Open Studios. |
