Susie Redman Handwoven                                                       

Artist statement:

Susie weaves on a traditional Swedish floor loom. She weaves homewares such as floor rugs, cushions, table runners and screens;  wearable weaves such as scarves and wraps and also 3 dimensional sculptural weaves. Sustainability is at the heart of her creative practice. She grows willow and flax and uses these in her weaves and also takes care to use yarns that are produced organically where possible. Susie exhibits her work in galleries and sells internationally. ​

Access:
There are no steps or stairs.  There is a disabled parking space adjacent to the studio. For anyone wishing to use the train, It is not possible for people with a motor disability to use the north bound railway platform as there is no walkway only stairs. ​
